Episode 4: Hart Main

Hart_Main picHart Main – Man Cans
Hart started his company in November of 2010 when he was 13. The thought, “Why don’t people sell candles with scents that men like?”, came to him when his sister was selling candles for a school fundraiser. He took this idea and ran with it.  A very unique aspect of the company is that the cans the candles come in are the byproduct of soup, donated by Hart, to local soup kitchens. Little did he know that an idea of selling man scented candles would lead to an opportunity to feed so many people. From year one to year two ManCans expanded our kitchens from 7 in Ohio to 25 in Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
